Claire Stallard is a pet portrait artist based in Gloucestershire.
Claire specialises in painting portraits of animal lovers' dogs, cats, horses and more. As an animal lover and owner herself, as well as a pet portrait artist, Claire understands just how special a part of your life your pets are and strives to capture each unique character in every pet portrait that she paints.
Her pet portraits are very detailed watercolours and her subjects are mainly dogs, horses and cats but she has also painted many cows, birds and goats.
In fact, Claire will paint any animal that you may own. Claire’s studio is based in the Cotswolds between Stroud and Cirencester.
Claire has been a pet portrait artist for over 20 years. She's highly experienced with painting all kinds of animals and really tries to capture the spirit and nature of each and every animal that she paints.

Claire Stallard is a vastly experienced pet portrait artist, who is fortunate enough to have painted hundreds of people's pets over the years.
She's also exhibited at shows all around the Cotswolds, the part of the country she calls home.
Nowadays, Claire works predominantly on a commission only basis, although she still does paint some landscapes and other animals for enjoyment. These pictures are available for purchase as either an original or a print.
